VPA's health care professionals work with patients who have mobility issues, many of whom are elderly. If you have difficulty getting to the doctor's office, chances are good that your insurance would cover a house call appointment in the same way it would cover a regular office visit. VPA accepts most medical insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. VPA also accepts private pay patients; a deposit is required and is payable by credit card, cash, check, or money order.

Visiting Physicians Association makes house calls for patients throughout greater Milwaukee area who have difficult time getting to health care facilities.
Martha Mulnix sits in a comfy chair in the living room of her Kenosha home, with her walker nearby. It’s very hard for Mulnix to get out and about, even for important reasons, like seeing her doctor.
For the past four years, when she needs to see her primary care physician, he comes to her, stethoscope in hand.
“For a while there, I couldn’t get in and out of the car, and I wasn’t able to walk. I have neuropathy (disease of the nervous system) in my legs and it’s still hard to walk,” Mulnix said, explaining why she chose the Visiting Physicians Association for her basic health care needs after hip surgery in 2006.
